For $180 though it's a steal I feel like. Alternatively the Samsung is currently on sale for $280 and it can do HD Netflix, has pen support, better battery, but no desktop mode like the Lenovo and a TFT screen. I don't know if 10" TFT will feel like a downgrade compared to a 6" AMOLED. I tried to mess with the Samsung in store but it was stuck on the boot screen. Only got to play with the Tab S7+ but that's too much money. I haven't splurged on myself since October of last year when my 7 year old gaming laptop went south again and instead of repairing it again I decided to build myself a nice desktop that within two months I found myself too busy or bored of games to play to use it much. I got myself over internet window shopping stuff for my computer. Now I'm trying to decide V60 upgrade, budget tablet, or portable charger. Thoughts? For those that had a V30, did it feel like a big upgrade? Was it worth it?

But I've owned a tablet once before, when I only had a laptop like 6 years ago, and I sold the tablet as it didn't become my media consumption device I wanted it to be. I've come to a crossroads on what to do. Either get the V60, a tablet, or a portable charger. I messed around with the V60 at two different stores, one with and one without the dual screen. It's pretty cool but I don't think I'd end up using the second screen. I don't like the extra bulk. But I'm fascinated with the larger phone albeit lower resolution which didn't seem noticeable. The 50% bigger battery is really piquing my interest. I am in a 5G area so the 5G and Wifi 6 are intriguing though I don't have an AX router yet. I like the stylus support. Not the biggest fan of the fingerprint sensor position change. The fact it still has the DAC is huge to me. I thought I'd hate the notch but it really didn't bother me. Oh and the 64MP camera (before the V30 I owned the Lumia 1020 with the 41MP camera). That's most of my thoughts on it after messing with it in stores.
I'm in this weird phase where I keep "window shopping" online some tech stuff and have been trying to convince myself I don't need anything. I've had my V30 for nearly 3 years now finally paying off my AT&T next plan a few months ago. I love my phone and it still more than gets the job done and only has about 17% battery wear according to AccuBattery. The plan was for this to be my 5+ year every day device and I see no reason it wouldn't be able to do that. I use it a lot but try to take care of it. These days it's my mapping, searching, reddit, texting, netflix, work chat rooms, FLAC music and ripped dvd playing device mostly. That's all I really do on it. And it does them all well. I'm going to babble a lot here, feel free to read but the TLDR is is it worth upgrading from a V30 to a V60? What has been your reasoning as to why or why not? Would a budget tablet and V30 combo be a better money saving option for media consumption? My main concerns have been that the headphone jack is starting to feel worn (but works fine) and that the battery might be over used now that I seem to charge it a little more often than before (as in half the time I charge on the drive home from work) I've been contemplating a bigger screen (like a tablet) would be a good transition device for media consumption.

The main reasons would be to utilize my phone less putting less strain on the battery and enjoying a 10" screen to consume media on. But again, I may find the larger screen moot in a couple months and I can always buy a portable charger if I need to. Aside from browsing reddit and watching shows/movies on a bigger screen the only unique feature I could see myself enjoying on a tablet is steam play. I tested it on my phone and it works amazing, I just need a bigger screen and a Bluetooth controller to actually enjoy it. I could see myself using it to lounge on the couch or in bed while enjoying some of my more casual games that I typically don't play when sitting at my desk. The two tablets I've been focusing on are the Lenovo Tab M10 Plus and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. I owned a Lenovo in the past. It's got almost everything I want except no HD Netflix. I don't know if that will matter to me. I play SD movies via ripped DVDs on my 6" display. I can tell the difference between SD and HD on my phone but SD isn't bad at that size, I don't know if that'll hold true for 10".

Really though I think the main benefit I'm going to see from it is the slightly larger screen and the extra battery life. I don't think every day I'm going to notice much else. I'm quite happy with my current software (Android 9 and using a lot of the built in LG apps so I'd have to get used to some of the new UI feel). If I was in the market for a new phone or my headphone jack stopped working I'd buy the V60 in a heartbeat. So I'm quite unsure if it's worth the money now or to just continue to wait and hope down the road when I am in the market LG still offers the same kind of phone I've come to enjoy. Alternatively I've been oggling a budget tablet. Which in my current situation might be decent but when I move in with my SO in a couple months may find itself underused like the wacom pen windows 8 tablet I owned briefly years ago. I only own a desktop now but so rarely use it. I'm either at work or my SO's house. But once I move in I'll have my desktop and a TV readily available. I see a tablet with a Bluetooth keyboard as a great laptop alternative but I haven't needed a laptop for years and my work will give me one if I get promoted to the next level which ideally will be in about 6-8 months.
